Adding no-video files to DVD-Video

I've made a movie, which I want to burn on a DVD. I'm using Nero, so I have a AUDIO_TS and a VIDEO_TS folder. Can I add other folders? I want to include some pictures.
Or is the final DVD not compatible with standalone players, if I add other folders than AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS?

You can add as many folder as you like. Use CAPITALS and DO NOT add any folders or files to the VIDEO_TS or AUDIO_TS folder. I use a PICTURES folder sometimes and just load all the files I want in there. Just drag that folder accross when using Nero.

Only the folders in capital? Or also the files?
And a 'PICTURES' folder? Isn't that a little bit confusing, because Kodak picture photo's also use a 'PICTURES' folder? So sometimes a DVDplayer will recognize the DVD as a Kodak Picture CD?

Just the folder. But keep files names short and no spaces, use underscore if needed. I have no probs with Pictures, but hey, use what ever you like. COVERS, EXTRAS, STUFF, etc are all good
