Im trying to shrink a 4hour to fit in a 4.7gb disc... and trying to put Lord Of the rings movie in a single 4.7gb disc

Well you can use dvd shrink, but for 4 hours the quality will really suck

There are two good options to do this with: either split it up to two discs (best quality) or re-encode the entire DVD with a good MPEG2 encoder (Cinema craft encoder for example).

How this can be done will be explained here!
