I just got it fixed. I did a system restore earlier and un did it. I should have known better than to use it.

But that's good to know where the files are

Re: XP Pro M$ Update Temp Files

CCleaner is very good at clearing out this sort of crap. It got all the Net Framework update stuff here.

Re: XP Pro M$ Update Temp Files

I was having problems earlier today with downloading a firmware so i used it. Then i kept getting the yellow update shield so i kept trying to get that update.

So i undid the restore and now all is fine.

My new firewall was the culprit for my download problem

Re: XP Pro M$ Update Temp Files

Hi Bob I had an issue with a corrupt net framework install and this fixed it.

Download the "dotnetfx_cleanup_tool", Run it and enable it to remove Microsoft .NET Framework x.x. After it uninstalls and reboots, go to Windows Update
and it will show that Microsoft .NET Framework X.
