writing unreadable errors/plex 8220 - Club CDFreaks

Did anyone ever succeeded in writing unreadable errors with a plextor 82220?
(also, a 80' CDRW would help a lot testing this

... does it even exists?)

Is there a way to check that an image file contains such errors(like cdrwins sector viewer for CD's)?

clonecd had a rather mysterious "there is a bug in the firmware" and more recently "raw writing doesn't work" remark for the plex 8220

(apparently nobody at plextor seems to be worried about the prob

)
