Won't save cookies for forums, help. - Club CDFreaks

My Maxthon 1.5.9 (basically it's a IE6 with better interface, it uses IE's cookie folder) won't save cookies for certain forums. When I log in to a forum, I stay log in for a few minutes, if I don't do anything, I'll be logged out when I click to another page. If I open up the cookies with notepad, how can I edit it so that the cookies will be permanent (make it not expire)? Thanks.

Have you set security level back to default in IE and made sure that it doesnt have some other funky security settings enabled?

I cleared all the cookies, internet files, and resetted all the settings to default, but Maxthon and IE6 is still won't save the cookies. Any other ideas? Thanks for the reply.
