Hey all, can not decide between the two, mainly because I have heard about compatibility issues with 64bit and some of the programs used by many on this site. I use my PC mainly for video encoding and dvd burning. I already have the cpu and mobo -

Here are my most commonly used programs. Have any of you had problems with them and 64bit Vista (or even 32bit Vista for that matter)? This will help me decide between 32bit and 64bit Vista. Thanks!

Oh, and if one program has not worked for you, what do you recommend using instead?

will switch to 64-bit once I get 4gig of ram but currently on a lappy and dont feel like upgrading to 4gig
