| Windows installer error 33 When trying to install Microsoft Access 2007 help, I receive the following error: "CL VIEW CL View cannot installl the necessary files due to windows installer error 33. The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file." I have uninstalled and reinstalled 'windows installer for XP'. Registry is clean. I am running Windows XP media center and Microsoft office 2007 Pro. "Help" works (loads) on word and excel. Need some help to fix this problem. |

| Re: Windows installer error 33 uninstall office 2k7 and use the windows installer cleanup utility to remove the rest... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 then reinstall , that should do it |
