General Software Discuss, WinAVI not Multi-Core Enabled? at International Chat: Software related forum; I'm not sure if this will be considered a noob question or if it has been asked a million times before but since I just registered I guess I'll drop it here. Does anyone know why WinAVI (8.0) uses only 1 core on C2D systems? I don'

WinAVI not Multi-Core Enabled?

I'm not sure if this will be considered a noob question or if it has been asked a million times before but since I just registered I guess I'll drop it here.

Does anyone know why WinAVI (8.0) uses only 1 core on C2D systems? I don't know if this is only with Intel systems because I have no access to a multi-core AMD system to test WinAVI on.

The software manufacturer doesn't seem to know either.
