Ich habe einen CD-Player, der auch gleichzeitig ein CD-Brenner ist (Philips CRD 760). Dieser CD-Player brennt aber nur Audio-CD-Rohlinge, die eine GEMA-Nummer haben. Philips schreibt dazu:

CD-Recording and Copyrights
Philips Audio CD-Recorders comply with all legislation and international agreements related to copyright protection. For this purpose they are equipped with SCMS, which stands for Serial Copy Management System. SCMS prevents the user from making a digital copy from another digital copy. Furthermore the Philips CD-Recorders will only make recordings on CD-R and CD-RW discs bearing the `audio' logo. These discs are subject to levies which are payable to copyright protection associations in various countries.

Audio-Rohlinge sind nun aber einmal durch die GEMA-Gebühr teurer als normale CDR-Rohlinge. Kannst du mir dabei helfen, wie eine normale CDR in einem Brenner so bearbeitet wird, das sie einen GEMA-Code hat ? Mir würde auch helfen, zu wissen, wie und wo dieser Code auf der Audio-CDR ist. Ich bin über jede Information dankbar !!!

I know that it's possible to use normal cdr's in a strange kind of way. First put in a real audio cdr. After the recorder has read the cd, pull the tray open with your fingers and put a normal computer cdr in! The recorder won't see the difference and will record on it without any problem!
