| Which software to use/download? Hi Everyone I have just had a major computer crash and lost all my downloaded software on my computer. I have started putting all the software back on from the original discs but I would like to know if there are any other programs I can download. I have just installed WinZip and its asking for a payment as its not free and I know my Nero 6 program will only last a couple of months as its just a demo. Are there programs out there that are free and just as good as WinZip and Nero 6. I also have to download new Codec’s but before I seem to just search for the one I needed then so I had 3-4 different programs. I know windows do a Codec pack which I can just download but is there a better all in one program. Cheers Alan |

| Re: Which software to use/download? either use vlc player for codecs or install Codec Pack All in 1 As for archiver I use winrar since it also can make zip or unzip

| Re: Which software to use/download? Thanks mate I will have a look at these programs and try and find which are the easiest to use. I’m not very bright when it comes to computer programs/software I don’t even know what WinZip dose but that is for another time. If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know. Cheers Alan |

| Re: Which software to use/download? Thanks mate I’m going cross eyed looking at all that free software and your help’s and tips are defiantly going to be a big help. But amongst all that software there must be some that work a lot better then others. Which are the best ones to down load please. Cheers Alan |
