Problems with Detonator FX

I have a MSI GeForce4 MX440SE.

Currently, I am using Detonator DetonatorFX(44.03) on my computer. I have been experiencing lagging especially with OpenGL games.

I wanted to switch back to MSI Detonator 30.00 so I uninstalled Nvidia drivers through Add/Remove Programs.

Then, I installed my MSI drivers.Towards the end of the installation, I got a blue screen message and it recommends that
I change my display drivers. I have never encoutered this before.

I restarted my computer and try to install the MSI drivers and still get the blue screen message. I don't think that there
is anything wrong the the MSI drivers because I have used it before.

I try to install back the Detonator FX drivers and the installation went on smoothly.

I think there is a problem to switch back to old drivers, maybe some files are corrupted.

Is there anyway to clean the drivers on my computer? I have used Nasty File Remover(NFR) but failed.

What are the steps to uninstall Detonator drivers and clean the computer completely so that I can install the MSI drivers ?

Just use Detonator destroyer (get it from www.guru3d.com) and live happily ever after

After removing the drivers, I installed back MSI drivers and the upgraded back to DEtonator FX.

I experienced lagging and scored 1000 mark less in 3DMark. I think there are some conflicts but I don't know what is the problem.

How can I remove MSI drivers ?

What are you trying to do ? Install MSI drivers and then install Denators on top of it ? Stay away from your MSI drivers and use detonators. You should be able to remove MSI drivers using Add/Remove. As
for the lagging are you sure you didn't enable FSAA or AF ?

poke your nose over to http://www.guru3d.com/ and get the 44.65's. I had the same crap with the 44.03's but ever since the guys here put me on to guru3d you can keep up with the news and updates. I think the drivers are up to 44.67.
