Nero won't let me erase my DVD+RW - why not? - Club CDFreaks

2 different RW discs that I have refuse to be erased by Nero - it keeps telling me that they are not RW discs, even though when it goes to burn on them , it identifies them as DVD+RW!! Plus I have saved on them multiple times (and it says RW on the front

).

Has anyone come across this problem before, and is there a simple way arond it?

Generally crappy RW's or a bad burn can cause it. Use Alcohol 120% Trial and its Erase Function. It has an option for 'Ignore Illegal TOC' and From memory another option to change accidental Bitsetting back to RW - Forces it to erase.
