Re: nero info tool

Just checked the nero faq and couldn't find info on this for you. Not a very good faq. More interested in ordering problems.

Check that your hardware settings and driver status/settings are ok. Make sure all your drivers are installed. Make sure your drives are running dma mode.
Type Computer Management in the search bar on your start menu and load it up. Look for event viewer/custom views/administrative events and cycle through any error logs there and see if theres anything reported about the crashes or any problems within your vista system.

Re: nero info tool

Use older version of Nero Info tool, I had the same problem with new version on Windows XP, older version solved the problem.

Re: nero info tool

Nothing in administrative events everything else works in nero . I hate to go down to a lesser version of nero just for the nero info tool. I emailed nero a week ago and am waiting for a response. my desktop works with nero. It is just my notebook dv 6000t. I have a duel boot and xp works ok.
