This is my very first post and hope to get some help.

Is there a tool which I can use so that no one can make a copy of the VCD or the DVD that I make.

I will REALLY appreciate your help and if you can also guide me how to go about achieving this and which tool to use.

For VCDs, you can search the forums, some methods have been posted. But VCD/SVCD being a strict format, these home-made protections are quite easy to copy (they are merely based on a bad TOC and/or defective sectors) and cause playback problems on some standalone dvd players and on computers.

For DVDs, there's nothing much you can do.

Hm.. you can encode the files you burn on your dvd with WinRAR/Steganos etc. but you cannot protect your DVD completly.. there is (nearly) always a way to crack a protection..

g3ri: You indicated that there is a possibility though. I know that thgings can be copied/hacked and basically what I am trying to achiebe is to somehow make it a little difficult for teh person trying to make copies of my VCD's or DVD's (of course as long as the technique) does not fulfil the requirement BUT does not damage the original DVD itself....

i tried with some programs mentioned in this forum,,,,,,, but what it result is ......it damages the intial track of VCD,...which contains video information,,,,,,,,and thus then it cant be played in pc or standalaone

any help will be highly appreciated
