Name of PC and IP Adress view on desk

Hello,

I'm looking 4 reg key in windows (XP) which will allow to show Name of PC and it's IP adress directly on desk. The same like in some beta ver of windows which show's the ver of windows direcly on desk on wallpaper and u cant change it.

or..
VBS (Visual basic script) which i could use like active x element on desk showing the same information. It cannt be VHS (? Visual host script if i remember corect)

PS.
It would be great if 1 or 2 could show name of current logged user to.

I know this is not really what you want,
but maybe it will get you by until you find a
better answer.

Make a Batch file to run from the desk top
after a start up. It will give you your hostname
(computer name) and the IP address...etc

c:
cd\
cd windows
cd system32
ipconfig /all
pause

rem open notepad
rem paste this text
rem save as ipconfig.bat
rem run from anywhere
