| Movie/DVD Collection Cataloging and Listing Hi, I am new here at Club CD Freaks. This seems like a really great place to find and share information about CDs, DVDs, movies, hardware, software, etc. I enjoy watching and collecting Sci-Fi movies, and wanted a way to catalog and list my collection. I found this web site called www.MyMovieLister.com and tried their 10-day free trial and liked it so much I joined. I have started to load the data on my collection. They appear to be very new (I think they just went live last month). It seems to be a really neat idea to have my movie collection list available online, so I can share it with my family and friends, and search what other members of the site have or want, so we can trade. That seems better to me than using some program to build a database that is only accessible on my PC. Has anyone else checked this out? What do you think? rogerl_1138 |

| Re: Movie/DVD Collection Cataloging and Listing Let's run on the assumption that you did NOT just join to spam the forum. ![]() I like DVD Profiler. It also lets you have an online collection, and is perhaps the best DVD cataloguer available. |

Thanks for the reply. Is "DVD Profiler" a program or a web site? If a web site, what is the URL? What does it cost to purchase or join? How long have you been using it? Have you looked at MyMovieLister.com? If so, what is it that you like better about DVD Profiler? Thanks again for your feedback. rogerl_1138 | |

| Re: Movie/DVD Collection Cataloging and Listing Wow! REAL PEOPLE! 99/100 times, posts like this one are spam. Newly registered person pimping a program nobody has heard of... ![]() At any rate, I've been using DVD Profiler since 2001. It is both a web site AND a program. The program runs on your PC and has more features than you can shake a stick at. The web site provides you an online listing of all your DVD's. ![]() I urge you to check it out. If nothing else than to understand what the competition has to offer. |
