MOHAA and XP

Hi,

I have just installed Medal of Honor AA, and everytime i start the game, the console window appears and it takes about 2 mins before the game loads, if i leave it alone that is. If i click on the console windows XP tells me its not responding.

Also everytime I start a mission a Network Window appears along with the windows task bar at the bottom, but nothing loads in it (blank window). I have to use Task Manager to quit the Network window and MOHAA loads as normal.

Anyone got any ideas?

It was my virus scanner and crash guard making the start up time sooooo long.

Now anyone got an idea how I stop the damn thing trying to dial-up everytime I start a mission?

Its okay. I sorted it. I had a trip over to the EA message boards, seems my problems are very common place there!

For anyone who's interested, you must turn off 'Autodial' in XP disable the 'call back' feature and select 'never dial a connection' all in the network options.

Only problem is now you have to dial in first manually before running Outlook or IE, but its no grief. Just put a link to your dial-up on the desktop and click it everytime you want to connect.

Sorted!
