[Linux] command line ftp client _ ncftpget!!

I'm currently using ncftpget for my linux server to download files. However, the timestamp of the file is neither the original timestamp nor the download time on my server.

I have read the ncftp faqs already, which it states ncftp won't preserve the original timestamp if the ftp server is not using GMT time!! I respect that, but i don't seem to find the option to force preserving!!

Any ncftp expert here?

Or please recommend other command line ftp client that keeps original timestamp, thanks.
