Did you know that when you install IE7 it does a once run it to setup the IE7 display and settings??? Also what does the exact error or problem say or do?? Also what kinda firewall do you ahve and what is your O/S your using now? I think you had IE6. So what other updates did you do prior to or after installing IE7?? I think there were a couple patches after IE7 that was to resolve some security issues or updates did you get those as well?? I do recall people or reading on zdnet that those updating from IE6 using a patch would cause problem when goind to IE7...but you will have to look at microsoft site to see what they have for a solution to your problem....I myself did have IE6 but since installed IE7 and seems to work well for me but that only cause I keep up with the updates as well...but as before you might want to look at the microsoft site about problems going from IE6 to IE7...

During installation I had to restart and when it logged on, before starting windows, the installation started to download updates by itself.

and finally I don't think that patches have anythin to do with it, because I've never downloaded anything for IE...:Sonly allowed my pc to update automatically update...any other suggestions or questions...?

Re: Internet Explorer 7 not working...

I restored My operating System to an earlier date before installing IE7 and the Internet worked fine, but the problem is from the Kaspersky Internet Security 7 that I have which have been blocking my IE7 access although I disabled the firewall, but still it didn't work....I started using Mozilla Firefox but I still need to know the solution because I need the IE7...can someone tell me where exactly in the settings of the KIS 7 of the firewall I must change in order to allow the IE7 to run normally.
