| how can I 'extract' a single corrupt vob file from a dvd? I'm trying to copy a vob file that is corrupted, as everytime I try to put iton the harddrive from the dvd the computer tells me of a 'cyclic redundancy error', I know I used a piece of software that helped with these situations but I cant remember/find it anywhere  could someone help me out here? |

| Re: how can I 'extract' a single corrupt vob file from a dvd? People here have recommended DVDFab as well as using DVDDecrypter with the settings to ignore errors. It can take a while and will not always work.

Ok, I got it to work but all the menus and stuff didnt show up, when I tried to open it with dvd shrink it said there is an error, when I tried with nero recode it said the file was encrypted (even though I had unencrypted it with freedvd) |
