| help me with xp plz you know when you first install xp your my computer folder organized in show groups....now its gone....but i go to show in groups its back to normal but all other folders show in groups too which i don't want help plz...hope i'm make'n sence  |

| Re: help me with xp plz Lol .. I'll take a stab at it here: Open a folder (any folder). Setup it up the way you want it. Then, go to Tools >> Folder Options >> View (tab): 1. In the "Advanced Settings" window: checkmark "Remember each folder's view settings". 2. Click the "Apply to all folders" button. 3. Click Apply & Ok. Close the folder window. Now, open your My Computer window. Set that up the way you want it - ie. show groups, whatever. Then, close out. See if it remembers your settings. |
