Can anyone tell me waht these "Daemon tools " are that everyone keeps talking about?

1 more question, how would i know if my burner is raw compatible?

DAEMON Tools (www.daemon-tools.com) is a program to emulate certain copy-protections using a virtual CD-ROM. You can also emulate images created by various programs. A great tool I might add

On http://www.elby.org/CloneCD/english/cdr_a.htm you can view a list of recorders and their supported features. This should answer if your writer is RAW capable or not.
