| Re: Free Downloads......Your welcome :-) A mega list! For some anti-virus tools you may want to check out this thread too: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=45386 I moved it to the General Software forum and stuck it, this is helpful for all. All can add links to this. I'll help editing the list in the first post if S_S wants to add to that list, just let me know. Again, thanks!

| Re: Free Downloads......Your welcome :-) Outside of the regular Mozilla Firefox, you can also get optimized versions that are designed to work with your particular processor. The link below also has freeware links. http://www.moox.ws/tech/mozilla/ I personally love MOOX's M2 Build of FireFox. Solid as a rock. Eagerly awaiting M2 based on the final FireFox 1.01. BTW: I didn't see links for the freewares "VobBlanker" and "IFoEdit" posted here. |

| Re: Free Downloads......Your welcome :-) SysExporter utility allows you to grab the data stored in standard list-views, tree-views, list boxes, and combo boxes from almost any application running on your system, and export it to text, HTML or XML file. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/sysexp.html WinExplorer is a utility that shows all system's windows in hierarchical display. For every window in the hierarchy, you can view its properties, like handle, class name, caption, size, position and more. You can also modify some properties, like Caption and Visible/Enabled. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/winexp.html Clipomatic is a clipboard cache program - it remembers what was copied to the clipboard even after new data is copied, and allows you to retrieve the old data. ( and permanent clipset allows for selection of user defined items like passwords, names, etc.) http://www.mlin.net/Clipomatic.shtml |

| Re: Free Downloads......Your welcome :-) I'm quite sad that Burrrn didn't make the list. It's a great free audio cd burning program. It's a great program. From the author's website: "Burrrn is a little tool for creating audio CDs with CD-Text from various audio files. Supported formats are: wav, mp3, mpc, ogg, aac, mp4, ape, flac, ofr, wv, tta, m3u, pls and fpl playlists and cue sheets. You can also burn EAC’s noncompliant image + cue sheets! Burrrn can read all types of tags from all these formats (including ape tags in mp3). Burrrn uses cdrdao.exe for burning." Link: http://www.burrrn.net/?page_id=4 |

| Re: Free Downloads......Your welcome :-) SilentNight Micro CD Burner: SilentNight Micro CD Burner is a small, standalone CD/DVD/ISO burner that does not require any installation and is small enough to fit on a Floppy disk. It allows you to select a folder, with an optional file mask applied and burn it to CD or DVD. The program also supports Audio CDs and ISO creation, as well as multisession, OPC, and Jouilet. |

| Re: Free Downloads......Your welcome :-) Great list! Some of my favorite software included. Everybody looking for software should check this thread first IMO. Here's my contribution to the list: http://www.sover.net/%7Ewysiwygx/ Freeware in all kinds of categories, some of them exclusive which means you can't find them anyware else on the net, some of them will only last for a short time and then there gone...forever. Cheers! |

| Re: Free Downloads......Your welcome :-) My contribution for those who are into working with photos: 1) Irfanview - freeware from a guy in Austria (his name is Irfan). Very good for batch conversions: any format to any other, resizing, renaming, color --> B&W etc. Works fast too. http://www.irfanview.com/ 2) Helicon - not free but worth it. From a Russian genius, it converts and corrects just about everything you could ever wish for - distortions, color correction, sharpening, fringing, hot pixel noise, etc. Check it out at http://helicon.com.ua/pages/ 3) Rasterbator - sounds like something you have hide from your mother, but really - it´s a cool free program from some guys in Finland to make HUGE posters in a dot matrix output from any photo onto multiple sheets of A4 size paper...as many as you want...as big as you want (no matter how small the data size!). As they say on the site: "Pimp your room" http://arje.net/raterbator For your general amusement, here´s a rasterbated image in my corridor

| Re: Free Downloads......Your welcome :-) Awesome list. Must have taken a LOT of research to put this list together. Why is WinRAR missing? The unregistered version works perfectly if you ignore the nag screen. Irssi is another excellent IRC Client for Linux. Notepad2 is an excellent freeware text editor (notepad on steroids).
