How close are those to the release? I had problem using the EN sp3 update with device mananger and volume in advance mode not be recognize and saying needs admin rights when I am admin????

If you are having issues with sp3, then I would reccomend slipstreaming it into the appropriate xp version and running it as a repair disk

I am having to do several versions for my work on client computers

RTM is what's shipping to all the major manufacturers

as an upgrade it's testy, as a clean install I would suspect it to be well tested

Chewy out of interest what are you using for slipstreaming XP SP3? I remember trying to use nLite to build an install with it, but it wouldn't work.

I used the new beta, had the exe on one partition, plopped in my xpsp2 disk and sent the cab files to another drive, then applied the sp button, it did it's thing but then I had to tell it to make a bootable iso

told imgburn to burn it, then tested for booting

my upgrade went slick as glass after it warned me to not use safe mode and I had to run again from normal mode and extract the files all over again

of course here's what I had running

I tested the nlite disk on a clean install on a broken computer(bad power supply), went very well, booting very fast

damn I have got 2-3 more versions to make


repair disk is a wonderful tool when fixing hosed computers and you don't have to download 999 durn hotpatches

do I need one in particular to run TOSHIBA SD-R5372 model? would any dvd burning sofware do the job?
