| /etc/hosts & networking files i messed up my /etc/hosts & the networking file which has the ip, subnet, dns entries. i dont know the correct format of the entries. if anyone can post thier files, i will be able to correct my settings accordingly thxx. ![]() |

| What kinf of netwerk setup are you on? If you can use a DHCP server in your network (e.g. a broadband router), just use "dhclient eth0" and off you go. Otherwhise, please tell us all the fields you need in the files, so we can help you out ![]()
