while copying a movie using DVD Shrink, i ve got a box saying :

Failed To Read F: \
Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy Check)


what does it mean?

What is the movie? The possible causes usually are two: a dirt disc (try to clean it) or a new copy protection by sony (aka arccos).

Try to use AnyDVD or DVDFab Decrypter to get rid of arccos.

If it's a sony movie can be an arccos problem, and latest version of dvdfab decrypter should be able to rip the movie.

Try also to clean the disc or to rip with another drive. Sometimes my liteon 16P9 can't read a disc, so I try with my burner and almost always I'm able to rip all files on HD.

I get that error all the time i just rip it with dvd decrytor and then shrink it with dvd shrink.
