| DVD plays on desktop, not on laptop Hi I have some burned DVDs that play fine on my Dell desktop, and also on our home DVD player, yet not in my laptop. I reformatted the lappie at one time and had a codec that worked before the format, but have long forgotten what it was. ( A friend sent me this codec and he can't remember either). I downloaded K-Lite Mega codec pack but that didn't seem to work. I am sort of a newbie anyway, and some of that stuff is confusing. Any help would be appreciated. I also downloaded some other codecs, without any luck. |

| Re: DVD plays on desktop, not on laptop Download GSPOT and run it against the problem dvd(s). It will show you which codec you need.
