Re: Do you recommend to use IE7?

I think you might be better off sticking with IE6.

Sometimes IE7 creates more headaches than it's worth. In my opinion.

I still use IE7 with updates to view certain pages that can't or don't have codes written for FF2 to run well. So it's best to keep couple browser handy to use. Some pages are program to run better in certain browsers and you are given different option on those pages as well...so keeping IE7 would be a worth while benefits assuming your keep its' IE7 up to date on updates..

Re: Do you recommend to use IE7?

If you are going to use IE7 then you might want to have a look at a great add-on (IE7Pro).

The build in spell checker is a dam nice feature.

Re: Do you recommend to use IE7?

Unless you have incompatibilities that demand keeping IE6, pretty sure IE7 must be more secure, and is probably easier than trying to remove IE from XP, even if you don't use it.

Tabbed browsing alone should be reason enough to upgrade.

Re: Do you recommend to use IE7?

Hi
I found problems with IE7Pro.
Only with CDF.
It was also only related to the Chatbox. Shrink or not.
If left it open.....fine.
If you shrunk/closed it ...fine.
Try & get it to open again...........no dice.
There were other problems but this were mainly related to use of old forum layout & tended to be inconsistant.
Mods been done on CDF since.
Plus IE7Pro has had some tweaking.
So I don't know if these problems persist.
Just thought I'd give a pointer as to what you have to look out for.

Re: Do you recommend to use IE7?

I just downloaded and ran the program diane7 referenced above and no malware found.

As for the chatbox problem Zeb mentioned; I have not experienced any problems with opening or closing the chat either.
