| commandos 2 Hey All. I am so P....d Off at the moment. I have been trying to burn Commandos 2 and ended up so far with 7 coasters in the bin. I have a LG GCE 8320B CD-Rewriter CloneCD 4.0.0.1 ClonyXXL Perfect Copy etc... I have read all the threads in this forum about the Commandos 2 problem but I still cannot get it done. I have tried all the different settings mentioned but nothing works. I keep getting a "this is not a win32 app" error on disk one after I have burned it with SafeDisk 1 settings. I believe Disk 1 has Safedisk 1 Protection. Disk 2 - None Disk 3 - Safedisk 2.** I have no problems burning Disk 3. Please Help. |

| well, if it wont run with d-tools, i dont think it will run on a cd when you burn it. you should try it like that first (imho)

| If the cd not protected try to extract the iso (2048 kb block)using any program. You may use CDRWin Demo and extract the Track NOT as raw. then burn the iso with any iso burner. or: create new iso using the files from your cd and hopefully no unreadable files. And try this with CDRW or cheap CDR if you no longer afford any coaster .

| The "this is not a win32 app" error usually turns up when executing a corrupt file (this is if the error does not apply - aka the file is a valid 32 app). I have run into this error myself with games i backed up using questionable media / drives. Try reburning the game using better media and lower speed. Some ppl say that disabling the DMA for the drive you are installing from might help - wouldn't hurt giving that a try.
