CD-DVD Delima

Hi all. Haven't been usind CD/DVD software for some time. I need some thoughts and guidence with what to get. System is running XP-Pro. My needs are simple. Am using Nero ver 6.? and DVD Shrink to make dupes of movies. Works great.Want to be able to use my CD and DVD drives as R/W drives on the fly,(just as if they are hard drives). Not much of anything else. Am SOOOOOO tired with products like Roxio, have ver 6 and and products like Symantec that garbage up EVERYTHING on a drive.Trying to buy ONE product that will fill my needs and keep it simple.Any help will be appreciated. Tnx.

Re: CD-DVD Delima

Unfortunately, ANY AND ALL programs which "let you use the CD/DVD like a hard drive" will "garbage up your entire drive".

Sorry.

Packet writing is crap. Always has been, and for the foreseeable future always will be. CD's are practically free nowadays, no point in using them like floppies.

Re: CD-DVD Delima

you cant find anything that is more garbage than packet writing software. it is ALL buggy and unreliable. if you need another dirve then get another internal drive or an external usb connected drive.
