I have purchase a Yamaha 4416sx cdr-w and having a problem burnings PSX games. I am using cdrwin 3.7e and using the Maxell blue. The problem is that it copies the PSX game with no errors and when you play the PSX it comes up to the PlayStation logo and freezes. Can someone give me some feedback on what could be going wrong please? What settings should I should use. Thank you in advance!

Can you play any backups at all on your playstation?maybe your modchip is not put in right or broke or you are using the wrong serial or keygen for your cdrwin if your cd label is like this "CD" then you got the wrong serial I always make a ceu/bin file first and then burn it and set error recovery on ignore And some games are proteced so you got to use a crack first i hope it helps goodluck ![]() [This message has been edited by DeNnEs (edited 29 September 1999).]

Don't use CDRWin, Nero is much better, I have also had a lot of problems with CDRWin, especially with the audio parts, but Nero usually works fine ------------------ Navigare necesse est, Vivere non est necesse

All the other backup works on the playstation with no problem. I used to backup them using CDRwin 3.3a on a Yamaha 2216 with no problem. I purchased the Yamaha 4416s and CDRWin 3.3a did not support the new Yamaha, so upgraded to CDRWin 3.7e, serial was provided. I made 5 backups and only one managed to get to the playstation logo or the others would spin and stop. Can anyone provide or point to where to get a good serial. Thanks again.
