Aspi nero/eac problem :(

Hi guys..

When i did a fresh install off w2k on my machine... i first installed nero... ofcourse i was able to burn freely...

But i could not rip an audio cd with eac.. I had to install new aspi layers... So thats what i did... guess what happened: .. i was able to rip with eac.. but i could no longer burn with nero!... I have had all sorts of aspi installed... from forceaspi.. to whatever is around... i just could not get both to work.

right now in eac i only have: installed external aspi interface selected. The other ones are greyed out (i uninstalled those i guess.. or i ran another aspi layer on top of it)

Installed external asapi (from vob software)
Native win32 interface for win NT & 2000

Im running on w2k (with a 24/10/40a plextor) and i would like to b able to burn with nero... and rip with eac... My question is.. how do i fix this? and plz dont say format I guess my aspi shit is a bit messed up :S

Hope you guys can help me

Simply copy the 'wnaspi32.dll' file from the Ahead\Nero folder to the EAC folder. That should do the trick.. You can also download the 'wnaspi32.dll' file here.

re-install nero. establish that you can burn with it. once that works, copy the dll over to eac as gamefreak suggests. if nero will not burn after re-install, try removing your aspi, and then installing nero. hopefully it works, else post back. actually, post back either way - and help others who might share your troubles.

best of luck.

i reinstalled different versions of nero several times... still wont burn..

so what do you sugges to clear all the aspi (eac will prolly not work anymore but first things first ) to get my nero to work...

step 1 is : get nero to work (i guess i need to delete some aspi files and aspi related files? but i have no clue which and where)

thx 4 the help guys

forceaspi 1.71 (i believe) has a tool to remove all aspi from your system. use it. then install nero.
