General Software Discuss, alcohol 120 and daemon tools at International Chat: Software related forum; Is it okay to install and use both Alcohol 120% and Daemon Tools at the same time? For instance, can I set 4 virtual drives for DT and 6 virtual drives for Alcohol 120?

alcohol 120 and daemon tools

Is it okay to install and use both Alcohol 120% and Daemon Tools at the same time?

For instance, can I set 4 virtual drives for DT and 6 virtual drives for Alcohol 120?

sooo... no compatibility problems and no conflicts between the two programs...? Has anyone actually done this? just double-checking.

No problems between the two programs, but you're twice as likely to piss off some over-active copy protection scheme that checks for Alcohol and Daemon Tools. LOL!

ok thanks. one last little question: should i stick to Deamon Tools 3.47 or upgrade to 4?

use DT4!
playing F.E.A.R. (latest update 1.02 installed) from alc's v-drive or DT3.47 did not work for me - even with SR7.stop 1.2 active it found the emulation.
using DT4 + SR7.stop 1.2 works perfect, even without the need to unplug any of your drives...

i think i will stick to DT 3.47 for a while, it's easier to manage (not implanted deeply into the system).
