| A suggestion for a new "Read First" thread for each sub forum Hi. I think that it would be very usefull if every sub forum (for example "LG Recording Hardware") would have a "Read First" thread named "Upcoming Models" that will contain and concentrate all the information regarding all that is known about upcoming models in the near future (for example right now LG sells the GSA 4163 model, but some people here knew (in march!) that LG is going to release a new model: 4165). Such a thread should contain information regarding the technical specifications of the upcoming model, its suggested price, and an estimated release date. This information could be formal press releases, "industry-inside information", etc... With such information concentrated in one place (for each sub forum), it would be very convienient for people to find the information about near-future-coming models, and decide for themselves whether they want to wait for the new model, or just buy the current model that's being sold right now. Thanks. |

| Re: A suggestion for a new "Read First" thread for each sub forum Doesn't anyone have something to say about that? Things like: thats a - nice idea, lame idea, stupid idea, already been discussed, hard to implement, not worth the effort, etc... ? I still think that it's a good idea! Someone? |

| Re: A suggestion for a new "Read First" thread for each sub forum Sounds like a good plan to me, but I am not the person to properly judge this... It will be to the mod of each forum to set up such a thread. Furthermore, it must be considered there should only be a limited number of Read first threads, which means that a decision should be made which topics are most interesting.

| Re: A suggestion for a new "Read First" thread for each sub forum I also think its a good idea, but as Da_Taxman says, we have to be careful with the number of READ FIRST threads in each forum.
