Main page banner problem... - Club CDFreaks

Hi,
On the main page, one of the banners, prevents you from selecting the pull down menus at the top, to navigate to the forum and other site links, because the banner *floats* above the webpage !! And it stays at that position regardless of how big or small the window is.

The banner is for microsoft direct movie or something.

And it is almost always the first banner that loads

Can that banner be removed? it's so obtrusive.....

Yes I agree with you on this one. Because of that specific banner, I've had to bookmark the newssubmit page because I can't always access it.

right.... i can't click the submitnews buttons (through i can see its link in the status bar . I must type by hand in Address Bar

Problem has been addressed several times.
It is usually a Flash banner from the ad agency that is causing this.

Hopefully the new layout we're (not me personally though

)working on will fix this problem...
