Attachment.php does not show attachment but goes downloading - Club CDFreaks

Anyone experiencing the same problem? When I click this link:

http://club.cdfreaks.com/attachment....id=73504&stc=1

it starts downloading instead of showing the actual attachment.

tested with FireFox and IE

In Firefox it downloads cakebox.JPG and in IE it downloads attachment.php. If I download and rename attachment.php to attachment.jpg it contains the same image as cakebox.JPG.

We've noticed this problem for awhile now (especially in the "Lots of posts with little context" thread in the LR - lots of attachments in there).

IE6 here, too.

Looks like the browsers are unable to interpret the picture because of the Exif data inside. Might be caused by the recently activated gzip compression.
Even forcing the content-type to image/jpeg didn't work.

Whoa...FF gives me a page of nonsense. The word "Exif" does appear though - Liggy may be on to something?

Even forcing the content-type to image/jpeg didn't work. __________________ You need to flash or dump your NEC DVD burner firmwares on your Mac, Windows, DOS or Linux machine? Just try Binflash. Visit Liggy's and Dee's Optiarc and NEC firmware and tools page for all kind of information about NEC and Optiarc drives. Unrequested PM about drive problems will not be answered!
