Hi,

I'm trying to make a backup of Flight Simulator 2000.
I can read both disks easily but when I start to write, it stops at 4% or 5% and the buffers are full.
I once managed to write the disk to a RW-disk for testing but then I tried a R-disk and it froze and the disk was ruined.
Sombody said something about buffers, should I increase the buffer size?
Does remaining space on HD matter?

MY SPEC:
NEC NR-7500A
CloneCD 2.8.4.3

CLONE CD SETTINGS(read):
Fast Error Skip = on
Intelligent Bad Sector Scanner = on
(everything else off)

I don't change any settings when i write.

When writing the image buffer size cannot be adjusted. The buffer size depends on your burner and it usually can hold about 2MB. So this should be ok. You should worry when buffers are not full

Have you tried a different CD-R brand? It seems very weird to me when you say you could write it to a CD-RW and not a CD-R...
