Will there ever be a CloneDVD? - Club CDFreaks

I was wondering if Olli is planning to release in the future a DVD version of CloneCD? There are many DVDs that cannot be backed up due to protections (no I'm not referring to CSS...).

Probably not. Not only are there differences between EFM and ESM, but there is no Raw mode for DVD's. Plus, many DVD's are dual layer, and I strongly doubt it's possible to replicate dual-layer DVD's with a home burner.

Well, I was referring to RAW copy of course, but I didn't you cannot do this.
