what protection is Unreal 2 - Club CDFreaks

hey everyone,

does anyone have any idea what protection unreal 2 is??? im thinking about getting (it just was released in Oz) and just wanted to know.

NB: don't you think it would be a good idea to have a sticky thread where we can collate what protection all the recent games have??

Not only is there a sticky, but there are numerous threads on unreal 2 and it's protection just use the search function.

You haven't read the FAQ (which is a Sticky)

duh... should have known, ut2k3 had securom so it would only be logical for epic to use it on unreal 2.

Unreal II I bought it (lives in USA) the instruction booklet said SecureROM. Also the instruction booklet said do to SecureROM Security if your running any debuggers in the backround the game wont' start up. I also found SecureROM in my computers registery most likely a program running in the backround to stop the EXE from being NO CD CRACK. Safe Disk 2 also did this. take care guys =) And of course its SecureROM new UT2K3 had SecureROM new
