Normal CD. You can also use any software you like. I thought GTA : Vice City was copy protected? SecuROM 4.8x I believe.

Version 1 is now released! You can get it here.

In it you can learn about SafeDisc, SecuROM and heaps of other protections and learn on how to defeat them. Also you can take a look at some of my various tutorials in it and some frequently asked questions asked. Plus heaps more!
Enjoy!

It is protected by securom. Download a-ray sacnner to see for yourself.

Depending on what writer you have, you will need to use the twinpeak method, Create an image to play on a virtual drive with dpm, ro use blindwrite.

Well to me that doesn't sound right. My CD is SecuROM, it doesn't make any sense that they would put protection on the CD that you don't even use to play. I think you might have them mixed up. If you could show us a log or a picture or something we could help you more.

The situation with this one is as follows:

The game has 2 cds; an install cd and a play cd.
It is copy protected with securom 4.8x.
A scan of the install cd may show securom protection (because that's where the files installed that form the guard module are contained).
However, as the install cd is not required to play the game, you can just copy it with nero without any special settings. If using CloneCD, just use the default Data CD profile.
A scan of the play cd will not detect any copy protection (because it does not contain any of the files that constitute the guard module).
However, the play cd has the physical characteristics of a securom 4.8x cd and must be copied accordingly (i.e. plex premium with blindwrite, clonecd with twinpeak or alcohol with RMPS emulation, etc) for the copy to work.
The guard module is installed by the install cd and when the game is run it looks for the required physical characteristics on the play cd.
