| VirtualCD Using CloneCD 4.2.0.2 I have some ISO images created with BlindWrite 4.2.8.28. I can mount them fine with Daemon Tools, but I cannot mount them at all with CloneCD's VirtualCD. I am given no error message from CloneCD itself, but when I attempt to select the VirtualCD drive I get an error message. Anyone have an idea for me? (Other than "then use Daemon Tools"!) Thanks, TriscuiT |

| Well, the honest answer is that I am trying to justify the purchase of CloneCD to management. I initially purchase it to use for backups of discs and the virtual drive. However, I didn't know that I couldn't make ISOs with CloneCD - only the CCD format. So I got BlindRead to create the ISOs. Now I seem to have no demonstrable need for CloneCD. It is cheap enough that it will not be a big deal. I was just looking for a way to use software for which I have paid (and presumably will receive support) as opposed to Daemon Tools which works quite well but has no corporate backing. |
