Using CloneCD 4.2.0.2

I have some ISO images created with BlindWrite 4.2.8.28.

I can mount them fine with Daemon Tools, but I cannot mount them at all with CloneCD's VirtualCD. I am given no error message from CloneCD itself, but when I attempt to select the VirtualCD drive I get an error message.

Anyone have an idea for me? (Other than "then use Daemon Tools"!)

Thanks,

TriscuiT

no. 1: why not daemon tools?
no. 2: alcohol has a VERY nice virtual drive, you could try that one...

Well, the honest answer is that I am trying to justify the purchase of CloneCD to management. I initially purchase it to use for backups of discs and the virtual drive. However, I didn't know that I couldn't make ISOs with CloneCD - only the CCD format. So I got BlindRead to create the ISOs. Now I seem to have no demonstrable need for CloneCD.

It is cheap enough that it will not be a big deal. I was just looking for a way to use software for which I have paid (and presumably will receive support) as opposed to Daemon Tools which works quite well but has no corporate backing.

What he means is he has already paid for clone and he does not want to pay for alcohol also...

Actually, I had never heard of Alcohol until I found this forum. I live under a rock.
