using clone cd with only a plextor 16/10/40 - Club CDFreaks

Hi,

I just got a plextor 16/10/40 and was wondering if it is possible to copy
protected games using Clone CD with only the burner or do i have to get a
compatible CD rom also ???

Hi,

Yes, you can copy protected with CloneCD using only your 16/10/40, but only the ones NOT using SubChannel Data. For example: for safedisc 1 and 2 you don`t need the subchannel reading, but for SecuROM you do...
Check out Cloneclinic for more information about the protections and it`s settings. Another nice thing to do is to always read the CloneCD help file, or help index. And finally you should register CloneCD and support the author for future experiments.

Now i now a bit where to start out to get some much needed basic knowledge on using clone cd thru the Cloneclinic site.
