I had a registered CloneCD version 4.0.2.2.

I read online that to update to the later version, I should install 5.0.2.2 over my current, registered installation.

I did that.

When I launch the prog, I get a message that it is an evaluation version and the evaluation period has expired.

It doesn't list my name and serial #/key as my 4.x version did.

It states that it is registered to "UNREGISTERED".

There is no place for me to enter my serial #/key as there was in my previous version 4.x.

However, I was able to read an image from a disc.

It didn't just stop as any 4.x version would after the eval period expired.

Can I install the latest 5.0.4.2 version over this?

Should I uninstall and reinstall my 4.0.2.2 with my registration info and then install 5.0.4.2 over that?

You can upgrade from your old version to 5.0.4.2 but you've got to pay 15$ http://www.slysoft.com/en/elbyclonecd.html.

i purchased version 4322. will i have to buy it again also? i wanted to find out before i downloaded the latest version.

version 4322 is already a SlySoft version, so as you paid for it which includes free lifetime updates just get the new version and you'll be fine using your key.
