Which Toshiba DVD ROM/CDR is best - Club CDFreaks

I am after a new CDR (as can be seen in a thread in Hardware). As I also use CloneCD I noticed that a thread in this forum said "we all know that Toshiba is the best reader" and I was wondering what is the best Toshiba which can read both DVD & CDR

i use de m1612 dvd-rom

it reads everything......even copy protected audio (on my computer that is...others seem to have problems)

i bought it some while ago because clone-cd advised it as a good drive
