I have a suggestion for a future version of clonecd.

What the program needs is the ability to save into a tiny file the exact sectors which have weak sectors (and other copy protetion), so that if and when safedisc3.x comes out and clonecd's backups that get patched to 3.x and suddenly doesnt work, we can use this tiny file to reburn the weak sectors onto the backup.

This way, we dont have to have the original on-hand (if it got loaned to a friend) in order to reburn the cd. I think everyone sees how this will be quite useful and will end the cycle of frustration whenever a new version of SD comes out in the form of a patch rendering our old backups unusable.

Any comments?

Yeah that it won't work. You want to use SafeDisc 2 'weak' sectors to back-up SafeDisc 3 when it comes along. Will never work. When a new version of SafeDisc comes out a new solution will also pop-up. It always does
