Splinter Cell for PC protection listed HERE - Club CDFreaks

OK fellas. I just got my copy. It is 3 CDs. CD #s 1 & 2 say "No protection found" using Clony. CD # 3 says SD2.8

Shouldn't be a problem for some of us.

Will it work using a Liteon Drive to back it up, as they have apparently improved the protection against Liteon Drives, knowing that they have no problem backing up most protected Games?

I made a working backup using latest Clone & setup # 1 in my sig.

Did you use your PC # 1: Toshiba SD-M1502 / Lite-On 24102B?

as those are the same drives as I have.

my 24102b doesn't even do the diablo 2 expansion my drive must just suck i use all the settings i'm susposed to...shugs.

You should read the Down & Dirty link in my Sig. There is a good and known reason why you can't do Diablo 2. It could be as simple as playing from a burner without Hide ATIP or not reading the data subs. It could be a DMA issue or a media incompatability issue.

Yes, that is what I used. I still have a brand new 48x Asus drive I have yet to install in either of my PCs. I'm waiting to build a 3rd.

Have you found out yet if it is deffinately SafeDisc v2.8 on the 3rd Disc? or is it v2.9.

SD 2.8, made a backup with Blindwrite 4.3 and F1. Still SD 2.8 after patch.
