Its a new drive so it is not listed in the clone cd 4 supported writers.

Can i use Clone cd 4 with this writer?

Is it compatible for EMF?(Can i Make backups of sd2 games?)

Hi,..
This drive should be (as 16, 24, 32, 40x were too) a Liteon drive.. so you will be able to use it with CloneCD, and copy SD2 Games (without the need of AWS)

but its (as all other burner at moment) not able to create fully working backups of Games with the latest Securom and SD2.8 protection...

Not so in the case of safedisc 2.8x. If the burner is able to make a fully working back-up of safedisc 2.51+, it is also capable of doing so with safedisc 2.8x, just not using clonecd or alcohol 120%.

The following methods are all now known to produce fully working back-ups of safedisc 2.8 protected cds:[list=1][*]Discjuggler[*]Discdump to make image. Burn in raw mode with program supporting cue sheets (fireburner preferred though others, including nero, also work)[*]Burnatonce (use internal discdump to read cd)[/list=1]

Cd-mate has also been reported to work.

BurnAtOnce seems like the best, use discdump to read, then burn in raw mode with CDRDAO. Its free, too.
