Good question.
It's been a few weeks since I backed up my version (USA), and from what I remember, Yates and Clony both said it didn't have protection. I was skeptical of this since NWN used Securom, and I may not have the latest version of Yates and Clony. I used CCD and Twinpeaks to back it up anyway. I've only tried the backup in my Litey DVD but it works for me. I intended to try a backup with the standard game profile, but I got . . . distracted. Who knows? Bioware may not have used copy protection because of the fiasco they had with the original game and Securom.
Good luck.
