Problems with CD playback

I have tried to copy several cd's and then replay them through my car and other cd players. Normally the first 2 -3 tracks are fine then the cd cuts out. The original and cd-r are both fine before copying. Any suggestions to put this right?

Re: Problems with CD playback

Normally down to one of two things:-

1. Burn Speed - most recommend 12-16x max.
2. Media - I'd recommend Verbatim Pastels or Super AZO. It's only with these that I was able to get Audio CDs to play in my car stereo.

But mine won't play CD-R - according to the manual. But with these 2 brands I get 100% success.
